Hi all,
I'm a bit new to this. I am having some confusion programming my Radio Shack PRO-652 (formerly 197) with the WISCOM trunking system. I guess my main question is regarding the sites in the left column of the radio reference software. Are these sites simply tower location channels? I understand how to select which talkgroups I wish to monitor, but am unsure about the sites. Do I select sites that are within range of my scanner? For instance, if I wish to monitor a particular talkgroup in ADAMS county, would I select the nearest site location, either in or near, to that county?? Thank you in advance for any assistance.
